What is a Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy?
Health and Wellbeing Boards are a statutory Board responsible for improving the health and wellbeing of the local population and ensuring joined up working between health and social care. The Board has a duty to understand the needs and assets of the local people through the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA), and identify ways to address those needs through the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy. This Strategy sets out the vision for the Board and identifies ways in which it will address the needs of the population of West Sussex.

The draft West Sussex Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy has now been published and you are invited to read and give your feedback or comments on it. The draft can be found in the supporting documents below.
Feedback provided will be considered for the final Strategy, prior to its publication in April 2019. All responses are confidential and no personal identifiable information will be used in the report.
The consultation will run Monday 3 December 2018 until Sunday 27 January 2019.
